MCU: Why Carol Danvers should go up against these two villains in Captain Marvel 2

Why they’re both perfect
It’s been said in previous articles that Karla Sofen (Moonstone) should be one of Carol Danvers’ nemesis. Karla’s an evil person that matches Carol on a physical level. She’s also smarter and willing to do things that Carol won’t. While we’ll definitely see Moonstone in a Marvel Studios movie, she’s probably going to be saved for a big Avengers event. The two we discussed could be used specifically for Captain Marvel’s solo projects.
I mentioned it a few times, but Ripley Ryan and Nuclear Man are the antithesis of Carol Danvers. First, you have this guy who’s just disgusting; a sleazy man who treats women like objects. He also treats his son like he’s worthless. He named him “Som” which stands for Son of Machus. He won’t even allow his son to have his own name. That’s the kind of guy he is.
On the other side, you have Ripley Ryan. A woman who was saved by Carol but still wants to kill her for her own gain.
One is a disgusting chaunvinist that treats nobody with respect while the other is generally ungrateful and willing to kill to get what she wants. Each displays an unfortunate side of humanity and neither care about anything except themselves. Carol Danvers, on the other hand, is a hero of the people and will fight for them at all costs.
