The Flash: 5 actresses who could potentially replace Kiersey Clemons as Iris West

2. Olivia Cooke

The name Olivia Cooke is one that many may recognize. She’s not necessarily a regular on comic book fan-casts, but she’s undoubtedly a star on the rise. Bates Motel gave way to several actors and actresses, Olivia Cooke is one of them. She’s enjoyed a lot of success on the small screen and now she’s set her sights on the silver one, experiencing success with a starring role in Steven Spielberg’s Ready Player One.

The British actress continued to impress alongside Riz Ahmed in the critically-acclaimed Sound of Metal. In the drama about a drummer who is struggles with his degenerative hearing loss, she plays the character of Lou – the band-mate and girlfriend of Ruben (Ahmed). As Lou, she was able to tap into an emotional side of her character who wanted to help her struggling partner.

The Bates Motel actress is set to star in several movies in the future. One of those is Pixie in which she’ll star alongside Ben Hardy (one of our potential choices for The Flash)  in a film about a young woman who organizes a heist to avenge her mother’s death.

The DCEU should have this rising star’s name on their list for the role of Iris West. There’s no doubt she’d make Iris feel like a character we want to see more of.
