5. Will Cisco get his powers back?

Cisco Ramon’s decision in the fifth season to give up his powers came as a shock to many, dividing fans who felt that his relationship with Kamilla wasn’t made to seem significant enough to warrant such a sudden decision. Season 6 has since done a fantastic job of not only justifying his decision but making Kamilla a more integral character. And yet, it still feels like Vibe’s retirement isn’t final.

Though Cisco hasn’t regretted his decision per se, throughout season 6 there have been a number of references to his former abilities – and what he would be capable of if he still had them. Hartley brought it up in the latest episode, and in Crisis On Infinite Earths, The Monitor even temporarily restored his powers.

With the season ending abruptly, we probably won’t find out if Cisco’s powers will return until next season.

4. Will Caitlin discover that Carla has become like her?

Danielle Panabaker’s pregnancy had the writers of The Flash setting up a temporary exit storyline for Caitlin Snow/Killer Frost in which the character was due to reunite with her mother in the hopes that Dr. Carla Tannhauser can help heal the injury she suffered at the hands of Sunshine.

Though Frost was worried that Carla wouldn’t respond to her because she’s technically not her mother, fans of the show will remember that after her father – the Icicle – attempted to turn his wife into another Frost, he was seemingly successful. She and her daughter just weren’t aware of it.

Though Caitlin and Carla’s reunion wouldn’t have happened on-screen, the former may not even get the chance to leave yet as the season’s premature end approaches.
