3. What does the real Godspeed really want?

Season 6 of The Flash has been doing its part to make up for the previous season’s mistreatment of the Godspeed character. So while it has primarily focused on the main threats of this year, it has quietly been teasing the introduction – or reintroduction – of another.

The season premiere’s references to the multiple drone Godspeeds that showed up alluded to the arrival of the mastermind himself August Heart – whose timeline had been rewritten since Nora’s future was erased. And the latest episode, “Pay The Piper”, delved into that further, introducing another, more deadly Godspeed drone.

It’s clear that the real Godspeed wants infinite velocity, but after alluding to his arrival in the most recent episode, it’s unlikely that the impromptu finale will make reference to him – especially when it is primarily focused with the Mirror Master arc. The question is: When The Flash returns, will we meet the real Godspeed, and will he be getting comfortable as a main villain?

2. Will Joe West return home to his family?

Joe West’s unexpected departure provided The Flash with one of its more emotional moments this season, as he entered the witness protection program in order to protect Cecile and their daughter Jenna.

While it seems like he was due to leave for some time, the character made a temporary return to screens in last week’s installment when Barry visited him to let him know what had happened to Iris.

With the season’s premature ending approaching and an overall lack of clarity in terms of whether the Mirrorverse arc will be wrapped up, it’s unlikely that Joe will be able to return home until season 7.
