9. Hela: The Rightful Heir

In Thor: Ragnarok, we find out that Thor and Loki have an older sister named Hela who their father never told them about. Odin held her prisoner for centuries. Once he died, she was released onto the world.

Before imprisonment, Hela was fighting with Odin to put the Nine Realms in order. She wanted to rule through pain and suffering while Odin wanted peace. This disagreement is what lead to her being locked away. Centuries of being locked up only to be released and find her brothers opposing her. Her story ends with the destruction of Asgard.

First off, Hela would absolutely love to talk about what Odin did. She would relish the opportunity to speak of her journeys and how she’s the reason Odin is in power. Cataloging her time fighting the war and how she used Mjilnor could make her look different. Less of a villain and more of a victim. That is until Valkyrie starts to talk about how she killed all of her people.

Valkyrie could tell the story about how they planned for her attack and what went wrong… or if they had a chance at all. The problem with this is whether or not Valkyrie would discuss it. She doesn’t like to talk about that time. She may, however, want to let the world know what kind of monster Hela is.

An intriguing watch nonetheless.
