8. Alfred Pennyworth: Butler and Father
Alfred Pennyworth was the most important person in Bruce Wayne and Batman’s life.
For Bruce, he was his father. After Thomas and Martha Wayne died, it was up to Alfred to raise this young, heartbroken boy. He raised Bruce to be an amazing adult. It took a lot. Nights of crying from a child who missed his parents and doing what he could to put him on the right path. It wasn’t easy, but Alfred took pride in helping him.
For Batman, he was the voice of reason. There have been plenty of times when Batman didn’t know what to do. That’s when Alfred came in to offer valuable advice. He also offered help on some of the more difficult cases.
This documentary would tell the story of how crucial Alfred was to both identities. There would be testimonies from Dick Grayson, Damian Wayne, and Jason Todd. Alfred raised them as well. Each of them would have a different opinion on Alfred. However, they would all show him in a positive light. Then there’s Bruce. He’s going to have the most to say. The stories he would tell would be both heartwarming and funny. Bruce loved Alfred more than anything. When he set out to become a vigilante, Alfred had his reservations. In the end, he accepted it and helped his son.
