Titans season 3 expected to start filming as soon as possible
DC’s Titans season 3 aims to start filming as soon as possible.
Titans has been on hiatus since season 2 ended November last year. While it was renewed for a third season, fans expected to see Titans season 3 debut on-screen in the same September slot it usually. That may not be the case if they can’t return to filming soon.
However, co-developer and executive producer, Akiva Goldsman, informed Collider in a video interview that he and the showrunner [Greg Walker] plan to start filming season 3 as soon as possible. He commented:
"“[Producer] Greg Walker is running the writers room on season 3. Stories have been developed but everything is a bit slowed down. Season 3 is planning to go in front of the cameras as soon as possible.”"
This, of course, suggests that production was indeed affected by the novel coronavirus pandemic which has impacted film and TV productions all over the world, with the subsequent lockdowns have understandably resulting in a motion picture and television industry standstill.
Goldsman kept everything hush-hush regarding Titans season 3, but fans are undoubtedly excited as the prospect of what’s to come.
Season 2 of Titans was received a lot better than the first season, as it finally found its footing with a slightly more optimistic tone. The sophomore season introduced the likes of Iain Glen’s Bruce Wayne, Deathstroke (Esai Morales) and Conner Kent (Joshua Orpin) – the genetic clone of Superman and Lex Luthor.
