Two major characters exit in Legends of Tomorrow season 5 finale
The Legends of Tomorrow season 5 finale saw two beloved Legends leave the show.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow season 5 has been a wild ride. The Arrowverse show has taken the Legends through some outlandish experiences, but this time around may have been its most ambitious adventure yet, as the crew ended up taking on the sisters of Fate so that they could save mankind from their having their fates controlled.
The season finale, “Swan Thong”, was one heck of an adventure as the Legends battled Atropos and Lachesis in order to retrieve the Loom of Fate from them. However, in order to do that, they had to face off against the returning Encores – including one very familiar face.
However, upon overcoming the threats that awaited them, the Legends were faced with some emotional farewells.

Realizing that her presence in the main timeline was inevitably going to result in Behrad‘s death, the original Zari took it upon herself to re-enter the Air Totem… leaving her team, her brother and Nate behind once more. And with that, she saved not only Behrad’s life but ensured the existence of the new Influencer Zari – who will seemingly remain part of the show in Season 6.
And when the Legends decided to party so that they could both reward themselves and make each other forget that Zari had to leave them, Charlie made the decision to remain where she was – back in the bar in 1970s London where we first met her in during Season 4.
Whether or not either of these departures is final remains to be seen, but it’s sure going to be interesting to see if and how this will effect the Legends moving forward.
