5 MCU characters we’d love to have dinner with
3. Thanos
I know, I know, willingly sitting down with a supervillain who is both hellbent on blasting away half of the universe and actually managed to do it … now that’s just asking for trouble. That could be a bad day just waiting to happen, but hear me out.
When we look beyond Thanos’ evil mega plan for a second and look at Thanos for who he is, we can see that at his core lies a child that just was not hugged enough growing up. That child grew up to be angry and bitter at the universe that birthed him, so much so that he wanted to snap half of that universe out of existence at the first sign of trouble.
Most importantly, Thanos is a man who just wanted to be heard for once. Maybe if just one person was willing to sit down with him, maybe over a dinner plate to let him tell us about his day and just let him vent, maybe that supervillain doesn’t become a supervillain.
Or, all of that is just a crock of malarky and some supervillains like Thanos are just born to be bad regardless. In any case, at least Thanos is articulate and fascinating enough to make for a great debater. As long as he doesn’t lose the debate, of course. Then he might just snap us away out of frustration.
