HBO Max is bringing the world of the Justice League Dark squad to life. Here are some characters who we hope to see on the screen.

As we learned last month, one of the many TV shows that will be added to HBO Max’s ever-growing streaming service is Justice League Dark. Originally reported by Deadline, Warner Media and Bad Robot are teaming up to create an entire universe of Justice League Dark material for both the big and small screens.

For those unfamiliar with the comic book squad, think the classic Justice League squad, but darker; to put it in the most simple of terms.

This ain’t your father’s Justice League, as Justice League Dark is a more modernized team of not only superpowered beings, but supernatural ones as well. Essentially, they are a team of B-level stars who get called in to tackle cases that are not quite in the regular Justice League’s ball park.

It’s certainly one of the more unique concepts to emerge out of the DC Universe and now we get to see them in all their live action glory coming to a HBO Max library near you. With the show still in its early stages of development, now seems as good a time as any to speculate wildly as far as which characters could appear on the show and, more importantly, join the team.

Much like their lighter counterparts, Justice League Dark has always been comprised of a countless array of different heroes. Let’s weed through their history to highlight who needs to arrive to HBO Max’s show in live action form.
