HBO Max has unveiled the first teaser for Zack Snyder’s Justice League cut and it’s absolutely jaw-dropping.

To say that Zack Snyder’s Justice League is one of the most anticipated events of 2021 would be a little bit of an understatement.

The long-awaited ‘Snyder Cut’ of the DCEU film is something fans have been longing to see ever since the theatrical version was released to cinemas back in 2017. The negative response and poor box-office performance resulted in a complete rebrand of the DC Extended Universe and it left fans of Zack Snyder’s original vision wanting to see what the film could – and should – have looked like.

After years of campaigning, that wish came true when HBO Max revealed that it would be unveiling Zack Snyder’s Justice League (a.k.a. “The Snyder Cut”) on the exclusive new streaming service sometime next year. And now, after only a few weeks of anticipation, Warner Bros. has unveiled the first look at it.

Check it out below:

What happens in the Justice League teaser?

The brief clip showcases Wonder Woman/Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) as the Amazonian Warrior makes her way through a dimly-lit cave with a flaming torch. She stops in astonishment when she comes across a cave-drawing of Darkseid.

A shocking moment as it is, the clip then cuts to Darkseid himself, giving us our first official look at the iconic DC Character who could have been the Big Bad of the original film. And it’s safe to say he makes for an awe-inspiring sight.

No doubt this will leave fans even more excited as they eagerly anticipate the new version of the film’s arrival on the streamer next year.
