Kilgrave

Zebediah Kilgrave may have been the best part of Jessica Jones. He went from being a despicable character, to a sympathetic one, back to being a villain you could easily despise. No matter what he was, the one thing that remained true was his charm and charisma. You couldn’t help but to love him. David Tennant had one of the most memorable performances in a comic book show or movie. It’s just a shame we only got him for one season.

When season three of Jessica Jones debuted, we heard Kilgrave talking to her. Was he really speaking to her or was Jessica stuck with this monster in her head? It looks like we may never know. What’s even worse is that we won’t get to see him in any other Marvel Studios project. It would have been cool to see him battle Daredevil or the entirety of the Defenders. Alas, it wasn’t meant to be.

The funny thing is you never know with Marvel. As we’ve seen, J.K. Simmons is returning as the popular J. Jonah Jameson. With the contract for Netflix running out, we may get to see David Tennant’s Kilmonger in the future. That’s if Marvel wants to use the same actor again. However, it would be a mistake to not use such a talented actor who played a phenomenal comic book role.
