MCU: Here’s when Spider-Man 3 will wrap production
The third standalone Spider-Man film featuring Tom Holland is expected to wrap in February 2021.
As highlighted by Screen Rant, the father of Tom Holland – the man who portrays Peter Parker aka Spider-Man within the Marvel Cinematic Universe – has revealed that the MCU’s third standalone film to star Spider-Man is aiming to wrap up filming around some point in February 2021.
The third offering featuring the Web-Head is one of many productions that were affected by the novel coronavirus. Other productions under Disney affected were the live-action motion pictures Mulan and The Little Mermaid.
The as-of-yet untitled Spider-Man 3 had planned to begin principal photography this month. Initially set for release on July 16, 2021, the sequel to last year’s Spider-Man: Far From Home was pushed back from summer to the fall of next year and is now expected to hit theaters on November 5, 2021.

Another reason for the delay is due to Holland’s other commitments as he is due to star in the live-action film adaptation of Naughty Dog’s Uncharted – helmed by Zombieland and Venom director Ruben Fleischer.
Dominic Holland posted a video on Patreon (h/t Reddit user _lliisa_) in which he discussed his son’s current schedule, revealing that Tom will finish Uncharted first before filming Spider-Man 3 and wrapping in February. Therefore the latter half of 2020, he will be busy shooting both projects back to back.
Tom Holland and Zendaya reprise their roles in Spider-Man 3, Jon Watts will return to direct his third and possibly final entry, returning screenwriters Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers penned the screenplay, Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal are producing for Marvel Studios and Pascal Pictures. Sony Pictures Releasing will distribute.
