The New Mutants is undoubtedly one of the most sought-after superhero movies of our time. While it goes without saying that fans are looking forward to seeing what the cast and crew have come up with, the endless rescheduling of its release date has undoubtedly made them all the more eager for its arrival.
Well, it seems that in spite of everything going on, The New Mutants will not be moved as Comic-Con@Home seemingly confirmed that the film will be sticking with its now-planned August 28 release date. Though, the fingers crossed statement at the end does raise some suspicions.
Though San Diego Comic-Con couldn’t go ahead like it usually does, this year’s edition, Comic-Con@Home featured a panel for the film. Hosted by Ira Madison III, the panel consisted of cast members Maisie Williams, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Heaton, Alice Braga, Blu Hunt, Henry Zaga, as and director Josh Boone.
All of them made their presence felt during the panel, discussing all things about the highly-anticipated X-Men spin-off film. While new posters dropped along the way, the most exciting takeaway from the panel was the film’s opening scene.
That’s right, as a special treat for fans who have been waiting very patiently for the film’s release, the unveiled the opening few minutes of the film and, well, let’s just say “intense” doesn’t cover it.
