Comic-Con 2020: The Walking Dead panel, start date, live stream and more

The Walking Dead will have its own virtual panel at this year’s first ever Comic-Con@Home, but before it does, here’s everything you need to know about it.

San Diego Comic-Con won’t be taking place this year. At least not in the way that it usually does. No, due to everything happening in the world, the annual event wasn’t able to go ahead in its usual capacity for the first time ever. Fear not, however, as the show will go on… or online to be exact.

A virtual event, Comic-Con@Home will feature a ton of intriguing and exciting panels from your favorite TV shows, movies and comic books. The Walking Dead will be one of those shows featured.

Like every other show in the world, work on The Walking Dead‘s 10th season was affected a great deal earlier this year. However, production on the season was complete but the post-production process was not and thus, the finale couldn’t be aired.

The upcoming Comic-Con@Home panel will be moderated by Chris Hardwick and it will be a special showcase event built around the highly-anticipated season 10 finale “A Certain Doom” – which is expected to arrive at some point later this year.

It will feature showrunner Angela Kang, Scott Gimple, Executive Producer Greg Nicotero (who also directed the season finale), and cast members Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Lauren Cohan, Josh McDermitt and Paola Lazaro. Other cast members are also expected to appear.
