Black Adam will introduce the world to the DCEU’s Justice Society of America, and there are a few actors who Jaume Collet-Serra  should have on his shortlist.

The Black Adam hype is real, and it’s partially due to Dwayne Johnson reminding us of why we should look forward to the film. Director Jaume Collet-Serra is looking to take Black Adam to new heights in a film that could be more than just an origin story.

He’s not as well-known of a character in terms of mainstream notoriety, but for those comic book fanatics and novice fans, there’s multiple reasons to get excited – one of them being the fact that, for the first time ever, Black Adam will introduce the Justice Society of America to the big screen.

We got a little taste of what The Rock was cooking with the casting Noah Centineo as Atom SmasherTo All the Boys I‘ve Loved Before actor is just one of the JSA members we expect to see in the upcoming film. If we’re lucky, Centineo will join Djimon Hounsou, who played the Wizard in Shazam!. Other JSA members rumored to appear are Doctor Fate, Alan Scott, Hawkman, Hawkgirl, and Jay Garrick.

If Black Adam stays true to the comics, then we should see a reformed version of the former villain. Atom Smasher will look up to Black Adam but, like the comics, he will clash with the moral code the JSA has.

This opens up Pandora’s Box in terms of what the DCEU can do beyond Black Adam with the JSA. So, the film must have a combination of established actors and up-and-comers who’ll make for realistic foes when they clash with The People’s Champ.
