The threat to the X-Men and Krakoa may come from within and not without.

The mutant nation Krakoa has been an adventure. In one year, we’ve seen a lot of changes to the mutant race in X-Men in Marvel Comics.

They’ve established their own version of the CIA (X-Force), come up with new laws, and so many other ways of life. There’s also been so much peace and happiness. They’ve stuck with the idea of thinking like mutants and getting rid of human ways. It makes sense since they didn’t always work. It’s amazing that the X-Men stories continue to be happier than we’re particularly used to. However, things are even going better outside of Krakoa.

Six months ago, this writer wrote an article on how there may be a war coming between humans and mutants. As time’s gone on, that thought is uncertain. We’re starting to see the X-Men working with humans again.

In Wolverine No. 3, Logan gained a new friend. In Empyre: Avengers No. 1, we see Doctor Nemesis working with Vision and Luke Cage. So things may be going back to normal. Well, as normal as things can be for mutants and human relations. Things getting better still spells doom for the mutant’s nation. The sad part is that it may come from within their ranks.
