Marvel reveals that iconic Hulk is now immortal in new series
It sounds like Al Ewing is giving She-Hulk the eternal treatment when Immortal She-Hulk No.1 hits this September.
Following the Empyre event, it has been revealed on CBR.com that Jennifer Walters aka She-Hulk will undergo another change beyond what we previously saw during the crossover event. She will now follow the similar, undying (if you will), fate of her cousin, Dr Robert Bruce Banner as she will become the Immortal She-Hulk.
British comic book writer Al Ewing, who most recently had received a nomination for his contribution to the ongoing comic series Immortal Hulk, will be writing the forthcoming solo title which is set to make its debut in September with Immortal She-Hulk No.1. The art will be illustrated by video game designer and comic book artist Jon Davis-Hunt.
Empyre saw the Avengers and the Fantastic Four join together in a combined effort in order to prevent both the Kree and Skrull empires from shaking the balance of the Earth in a widespread invasion. The events of this will somehow tie into Immortal She-Hulk.

She-Hulk has evolved a lot over the years, from savage to sassy to rampaging to gray – and most recently, becoming a walking gamma bomb of unbridled rage. Now, she will become The Immortal She-Hulk – but to what end? We are uncertain, but The Leader is fully aware of the resulting conclusion, although, the clue may be to look into Empyre and witness her journey there.
Unlike her cousin, Jen is not plagued with many emotional problems nor is she mentally unstable, but it will be interesting how these transformations occur differently.
