At DC FanDome, there were quite a few reveals during The Flash season 7 panel from showrunner Eric Wallace and the cast.

During The Flash season 7 DC FanDome panel, which featured special guests from the Arrowverse show such as the showrunner Eric Wallace and the cast of The CW show including Grant Gustin, Candice Patton, Carlos Valdes, Danielle Panabaker, Kayla Campton, Danielle Nicolet and Brandon McKnight, there were quite a few details revealed about the show’s return.

From the season 7 trailer, it’s clear that it will pick up where season 6 left off with Iris (Patton), Kamilla Hwang (Victoria Park) and Chief Singh (Patrick Sabongui) trapped in the Mirror-verse. Iris’ mind will most likely continue to suffer due to the length of time she has spent inside that dimension.

Aside from that, we now know that Rosa Dillon aka Top (Ashley Rickards) will make a return in addition to Godspeed (voiced by B.D. Wong). As confirmed by showrunner Wallace, season 7 will be split into volumes like before and the villainous futuristic speedster will play more of a role than ever before.

Moreover, Gustin revealed that Barry Allen’s speed dilemma will continue into the season, adding that he “really just misses [the Speed Force], especially with Iris being trapped in the Mirror-verse.” Since the fifteenth episode the sixth season, “The Exorcism of Nash Wells,” Allen has been inspired to create an artificial Speed Force (following the destruction of the real one).

As for what we can expect from the other characters, Dani Nicolet discussed Cecile and joked that the former Central City D.A. could do with “breaking a bit bad”, adding that she “would have a lot of fun playing Bad Cecile.” However, she did promise that something different is coming for her character.

Elsewhere, it was revealed that, while Harley Sawyer will not be returning as Ralph Dibny/Elongated Man, Sue Dearbon (played by Natalie Dreyfuss) will be featured in several episodes of the upcoming season as Ralph will be written out.
