Ray Fisher may be making a comeback to the DCEU as Victor Stone aka Cyborg in The Flash.
Ray Fisher might be reprising his role as Cyborg in Ezra Miller’s upcoming DCEU movie based off the Barry Allen iteration of The Flash, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The actor who portrayed Victor Stone in Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League was reportedly in talks to cameo, but with everything going on with him right now, it’s uncertain as to whether or not he’ll appear.
Now, if this true, how could Cyborg enter the story? It’s long been rumored that The Flash movie will be based off the Flashpoint storyline from the comics. For those who might not be familiar with the story here’s a brief rundown.
Barry runs back in time to save his mother from Reverse Flash, but it goes horribly wrong and reality changes. One example is Bruce Wayne is killed in place of his parents and his father Thomas becomes Batman while his mother Martha becomes the Joker. Also, Aquaman and Wonder Woman become secret lovers while their nations are at war with each other.
Basically, one small thing triggers a massive chain reaction.
However, it has been indicated that Reverse Flash will not be a part of the film’s story, but this is just a rumor for the time being.
As for how Ray Fisher’s Cyborg fits into the story is anyone’s guess. He is not the first non-Flash character to join the film. Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck will reprise their own versions of Batman. However, is currently unknown if Jason Momoa and Gal Gadot will reprise their roles as Arthur Curry and Diana Prince.
