Tatiana Maslany has been cast as She-Hulk for the upcoming series

Just days after finding the director to lead the series, She-Hulk herself has been cast for the upcoming series.
In an exclusive report from Deadline, Tatiana Maslany has been cast as She-Hulk in the upcoming She-Hulk series that is set to premiere on Disney+. This news comes just days after the series brought on Kat Coiro to act as the director of the show.
Maslany previously starred in Orphan Black in which she played various clones of the same woman throughout the series. Maslany’s casting also comes after months of rumors that Allison Brie would be cast as in the role instead.
In the series, Maslany will be taking on the role of Jennifer Walters, an attorney who, after being attacked and nearly killed by mobsters, receives a blood transfusion from her cousin Bruce Banner. After receiving the transfusion, Jennifer is now also irradiated with gamma, like her cousin, and can transform into a Hulk form.

After she initially became She-Hulk, she was then irradiated by gamma even more and was permanently transformed into She-Hulk, unable to revert to simply being Jennifer Walters. It’s unclear whether Maslany will be portraying a version of the character that can transform between her Hulk form and Jennifer or whether she will be playing a She-Hulk who has been permanently transformed though.
This news comes just a day after the news that another Disney+ Marvel series, WandaVision, will be released on the streaming service before the end of the year. Combine that with Anthony Mackie announcing that The Falcon and Winter Soldier had restarted its production, this has been a very exciting week for MCU fans.
Now, with She-Hulk being cast, the casting of Ms. Marvel will more than likely not be that far behind, especially given her prominence in the mainstream now due to her starring role in the recently released Avengers game.
