Supergirl Season 6: Six characters who should return for the final season

To the heartbreak of many, Supergirl Season 6 will be the show’s last. As we bid farewell to the Girl of Steel, here are six characters we’d like to see one last time
Fans are getting ready to bid farewell to yet another Arrowverse show. To the surprise of many, Supergirl will be ending with its sixth season. Airing in 2021, the 20-episode long Supergirl Season 6 promises to give its characters a great send-off.
The plots and arcs are under wraps since production on the final season has only just begun. The progenitor of the Arrowverse/ The CWVerse ended with the death of its lead character, Oliver Queen/ The Arrow (Stephen Amell). Will Supergirl follow suit with a heroic but sad ending?
Given that the show has historically leveraged a sense of hope and optimism, the expectation is high that the final season will continue the same trend.
The final cast has not been confirmed, but since some of the previous season’s storylines were left incomplete, the returning cast will likely include Melissa Benoist as Kara Danvers/ Supergirl, Chyler Leigh (Alex Danvers), Katie McGrath (Lena Luthor), Jesse Rath (Brainiac-5), Nicole Maines (Nia Nal/ Dreamer), Andrea Brooks (Eve Teschmacher), Azie Tesfai (Kelly Olsen), Julie Gonzalo (Andrea Rojas), Staz Nair (William Dey), David Harewood (Martian Manhunter), and Lex Luthor (Jon Cryer).
Most likely Tyler Hoechlin’s Superman and Elizabeth Tulloch’s Lois Lane will also make an appearance.
Final seasons always lead to speculation about which other characters will make an appearance. There are always a few fan-favourites who people would love to see again. Some are heroes, others are villains, but their chemistry with the main characters have us wishing for a concrete conclusion to their storylines.
