Rumor: Titans renewed for a fourth season by HBO Max
According to a new rumor, Titans has been renewed for a fourth season before its anticipated third season has yet to air.
Aside from DC’s Stargirl (which is moving to The CW), all active DC Universe originals have leapt from that streaming service to HBO Max and all of those shows (Stargirl included) have new seasons on the way. That means we can expect to see more of Titans, Doom Patrol, Harley Quinn and Young Justice on HBO Max. However, according to one rumor, we can expect to see two new seasons of Titans in the future.
According to FandomWire, Titans has already received a fourth season renewal before its third has even dropped on HBO Max. This has yet to be confirmed by the studio but given that Titans was DC Universe’s most popular original, it’s highly likely that we’ll be getting a fourth season.
Titans season 3 is undoubtedly anticipated among the fandom. Highlights from the upcoming season will be the introduction of Barbara Gordon, the current roster moving to Gotham, Curran Walters’ Jason Todd dropping the mantle of the Boy Wonder Robin and becoming Red Hood, plus Scarecrow and Blackfire coming to wreak havoc upon the heroes.
Has Titans been renewed for season 4?

DC’s Titans is no stranger to off-air season renewals during its hiatus. When the first season made its debut on the DC streamer back in 2018, before season 1 officially aired it was instantly renewed for season 2 and Akiva Goldsman revealed at the time they planned for three seasons, which they have thankfully reached. Again, it is not at all farfetched to suggest a fourth season is likely, although, this rumor has yet to be verified.
Titans stars Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop, Teagan Croft, Alan Ritchson, Minka Kelly, Ryan Potter, Curran Walters and Conor Leslie. Geoff Johns, Akiva Goldsman and Greg Berlanti write the series. Johns, Goldsman, Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Greg Walker and John Fawcett are executive producers.
Weed Road Pictures and Berlanti Productions produce the series, in association with Warner Bros. Television. Titans season 1 and 2 are on DC Universe in the U.S. and Netflix internationally. Season 3 is expected to premiere during the fall of 2020, but that is not yet certain.
