Maxie Zeus

Simply put, Maxie Zeus is a bit of a joke. He’s also not someone that many non-comic book fans will be aware of or know much about. However, that doesn’t mean he can’t serve a purpose. Zeus would make for a great B-level villain that keeps coming back only to be sent back to jail. He’d be a perfect recurring antagonist for The CW’s Batwoman. Everyone loves when an arrogant jerk gets beat up. It happened to Maxie Zeus in Harley Quinn and it was great.

Jensen Ackles can play arrogant well. He did it throughout Supernatural. In this case, he’d have to dial it up to a ten. Playing Maxie Zeus would require him to make grand speeches and use big hand gestures as he gives instructions to his goons. Not only could Ackles do this, it would be hilarious as well – especially with him dressed as Zeus.

Jensen Ackles’ gruff voice plays a part in this as well. When he’s going on about being a god, having that hint of roughness in his tone will make it slightly believable. That is, until he’s eventually beaten. Hearing him use that same voice to plead his sanity will be even better. He’ll continue to believe he’s Zeus while everyone knows the truth.
