7. FLAME ON!

After some convincing, Lamplighter decided that he was going to help Hughie save Starlight. The duo mades their way to The Seven’s meeting room where Lamplighter realized that his statue was no longer there. He was disappointed that they moved away from him so quickly (not shocking considering The Seven are jerks). In his last (and possibly only) act of heroism, Lamplighter sacrficed himself by lighting himself on fire setting. This set off the fire alarm which cut off the power inhibitors in Starlight’s cell. As heroic as that was, who would’ve thought that Lamplighter wasn’t immune to his own fire?

6. Kimiko stars in Face-off

Kimiko is The Boys’ most dangerous teammate. She’s saved them more than a few times in two seasons with her brutal fighting style. After her brother was killed, Kimiko went down a dark path. She started taking money to kill people. She was killing bad people, so the show made us aware that she wasn’t all bad. However, the shocking part was what she did to one of the mobsters.

Kimiko literally peeled a guy’s face off. It wasn’t as smooth as you might’ve seen in video games. This was easily one of the most painful moments of the series. The good thing is it wasn’t a wasted moment. It furthered how fortuitous Kimiko can be when she wants to.
