5. Stormfront being Stormfront
Before we saw Stormfront in the actual show, we got a glimpse of her in a trailer. She seemed like the millennial who was all about social media. As the show went on, she appeared to be all about women empowerment and equality. People on social media were praising her but fans of the comic books knew better. When it was revealed that she was over 80 years old and was secretly a Nazi this whole time, people quickly jumped off the Stormfront bandwagon. As bad as that was, it got worse.
The idea of her and Homelander sleeping together was, well, weird to say the least but witnessing how they got it on was even more disturbing. Homelander lasering Stormfront’s chest, the two of them throwing each other around the room, and then the air “love making” was just hilarious. The coup de grâce was the two of them getting it on in the alley after they crushed a guy’s head.
It was even worse when she confessed her past to Homelander and he didn’t end their relationship. There were moments when he questioned her motive, yet he never broke up with her. Was it because it was the first time he was in love or was he too weak to end things? Either way, this writer was befuddled by everything they did together.
