Disney Plus’ long-awaited Moon Knight series may have just found its leading star in none other than Oscar Isaac.

The next phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be dominated by an abundance of Disney Plus shows. One of those shows that we don’t yet know very much about is Moon Knight. However, by the sounds of things, that is all about to change as Marvel Studios may have just found their leading man.

According to Variety, Oscar Isaac is in talks to star in the upcoming series. Isaac is, of course, best known for his role in the Star Wars sequel trilogy as Poe Dameron, as well as his performances in Inside Llewyn DavisA Most Violent Year and Ex Machina. He’s also no stranger to Marvel, having portrayed Apocalypse himself in Fox’s X-Men: Apocalypse.

Is Oscar Isaac going to play Moon Knight?

It’s worth remembering that the star is reportedly in negotiations for the role. While that’s undeniably promising, it isn’t a guarantee that he’ll end up starring in the show as those talks could always break down. However, let’s hope that they don’t!
