With the time almost upon us, fans are excited for the return of Disney Plus’ beloved Star Wars series, so here’s everything we know about The Mandalorian season 2.

The Mandalorian season 2 is on the minds of many Star Wars fans. The Disney+ TV show went down a treat during its first season and, following Baby Yoda-Mania, it was revealed that the second season would debut before the end of the year.

It’s not long until The Mandalorian returns to our screens so with that in mind, let’s take a look at everything we need to know.

Below, you’ll find all the up-to-date information you need about The Mandalorian season 2, its premiere on Disney Plus, its cast, any trailers and more.

The Mandalorian season 2 premiere date

The Mandalorian season 2 will hit screens on Friday October 30, 2020. Much like its predecessor it will be eight episodes long, with a new installment arriving on Disney Plus every Friday.

The Mandalorian season 2 cast

The Mandalorian‘s first season was very much a one-man show (aside from Baby Yoda, of course) and it’s safe to say that the second will very much follow in its footsteps. Yes, that means Pedro Pascal will reprise his role as the Mandalorian himself, Din Djarin in the follow-up.

Joining him will be Carl Weathers as Greef Karga, Gina Carano as Cara Dune and Giancarlo Esposito as Moff Gideon. Rosario Dawson will also make her presence felt as Ahsoka Tano while WWE Superstar (and current SmackDown Women’s Champion) Sasha Banks will also play an undisclosed role.

The Mandalorian season 2 trailer

The Mandalorian was one of the luckier productions of this year as it wrapped days before the outbreak of the novel coronavirus forced film and TV productions around the world to shut down.

That meant that the show could release on its planned date (post-production was completed remotely) and that, with the completed footage, Disney Plus could release a trailer for the upcoming season.

The release of the trailer naturally made fans incredibly excited for the Star Wars show’s sophomore season. And following on from that, Disney Plus released a second trailer as the release date grew closer.

What is The Mandalorian season 2 about?

The Mandalorian remained something of a mystery ahead of its debut and it seems that the second season will very much do the same. There hasn’t been an awful lot of information released by Disney as to what we can expect from the upcoming season of the show but you can rest assured that will make fans even more excited for its return.
