Christian Bale arrives in Australia to shoot the MCU’s Thor: Love and Thunder
Christian Bale has reportedly arrived in Sydney, Australia to shoot the Marvel Studios film Thor: Lover and Thunder.
Christian Bale will be returning to the big screen in Marvel Cinematic Universe film Thor: Love and Thunder and he has reportedly ready to begin filming. As revealed on YouTube channel Kobie Thatcher (H/T: The Direct), Bale has arrived in Sydney, Australia to prepare for his role in the MCU film.
The Dark Knight star entered negotiations to star in the film, helmed by Taika Waititi, earlier this year. As to be expected with most films produced by Marvel Studios, the plot details of Love and Thunder – a follow-up to 2017’s Thor: Ragnarok – have been kept under wraps by the head honchos at Marvel.
Who is Christian Bale playing in Thor: Love and Thunder?
Neither Bale nor Marvel Studios have confirmed what character he will play in the upcoming film, but it has been suggested he could portray the main antagonist, with some rumors suggesting the character might be Dario Agger aka Minotaur. But again, this has yet to be confirmed in any way or form by Marvel Studios.

Waititi, the director who also helmed Ragnarok, is also writing the fourth movie. It is still very much in the writing process as Waititi and fellow screenwriter Jennifer Kaytin Robinson bring it to life. Meanwhile, on the performers front, Tessa Thompson, Natalie Portman and Vin Diesel will reprise their MCU roles as Valkyrie, Jane Foster and Groot, respectively.
Production on Thor: Love and Thunder is expected to begin soon, with recent rumors suggesting that it might kick off in Janaury 2021. The film itself will now be released on February 11, 2022.
