Tom Holland’s Peter Parker becomes Venom in this stunning Spider-Man image that could tease what’s ahead for Spidey’s next MCU movie.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe will enter uncharted territory with its upcoming fourth phase and it’s safe to say that fans are excited to see where it goes. One of the many movies that will arrive in that phase is the currently untitled Spider-Man 3 that will see the return of Tom Holland’s Peter Parker for another MCU adventure.
There is much speculation as to what lies ahead for the third Spider-Man movie. Peter has quickly grown into one of the MCU’s most popular characters, quickly earning himself a spot on that list within only two years and fans are eager to see what’s ahead for him.
One of the many theories for the movie lie in the fact that we might see the introduction of Venom in the MCU. Given that Sony at one point wanted Spider-Man back – before a new deal was cut with Marvel Studios to keep him in the MCU (thanks to Holland) – it seemed inevitable that it was going to happen. Many still think we could see it happen in Spider-Man 3, crossing the franchise over with Tom Hardy’s Venom and a new piece of art has given us an idea of what that could look like.

Digital artist britedit took to Instagram to unveil a new piece of art containing Holland’s wall-crawler wearing the Venom symbiote suit and it’s absolutely incredible.

The design is reminiscent of the character’s comic book appearance but there are clearly some unique original additions that offer up a really slick look. And it’s safe to say that if Peter does find his way to Venom in Spider-Man 3, fans would be more than satisfied if he looked like this.
The question remains if the two franchises will cross paths, but it does seem like a strong possibility – especially with Spider-Man: Homecoming‘s Michael Keaton appearing in Sony’s Morbius and the multiverse’s introduction in Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness.
Spider-Man 3 hits theaters on December 17, 2021.
