Wonder Woman 1984 is upon us. The long-awaited DCEU film has been on the minds of DC fans for years and now Gal Gadot is back in action as it is set to debut.
The sequel to 2017’s Wonder Woman, Wonder Woman 1984 was supposed to arrive in movie theaters back in June (after already being delayed multiple times). However, it was subsequently delayed to August following the outbreak of the novel coronavirus. It was delayed once more until December 25.
Wonder Woman 1984 stars Gal Gadot as Diana Prince, Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, Kristin Wiig as Barbara Minerva/Cheetah and Pedro Pascal as Maxwell Lord. It’s the ninth movie in the DCEU franchise.
How to watch Wonder Woman 1984 online
Wonder Woman 1984 will be uploaded to HBO Max’s library and can be streamed on HBO Max from December 25 (Christmas Day), coinciding with its theatrical release.

Given the ongoing pandemic, a significant number of theaters will be closed in the U.S. while some people wouldn’t feel comfortable going to a theater right now. As a result, Warner Bros. added the film to their streaming service for U.S. audiences to enjoy from the comfort of their own home.
Unfortunately, the HBO Max distribution of Wonder Woman 1984 is only exclusive to territories in which the streaming service is available. It will be released in theaters worldwide, but they too have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic – forcing WB to figure out alternate ways to distribute the movie in certain locations, such as PVOD services.
