Riverdale season 5 character preview: Archie Andrews

What will happen

Archie’s journey throughout Riverdale‘s fifth season will be a challenging one and all that pressure will undoubtedly weigh upon the young man as he decides what to do with his future. But what will that future look like?

Will it be one in Riverdale itself? Will it be one with the love of his life, Veronica Lodge, by his side? As we’ve seen so many times before, anything can happen in the town of Riverdale, but the latter of those life options may run into a few obstacles. The fact of the matter remains that Veronica is going to find out about the kiss between Betty and Archie and when she does, she will be devastated. “Varchie” has undoubtedly overcome worse, but will Ronnie be able to accept the fact that he strayed with their best friend? The woman who was once in love with him before she found her true love in Jughead?

The infamous “Barchie” mistake will have repercussions that might just lead to the time-jump. And that doesn’t even cover what awaits the gang in the immediate future: The Videotape Stalker.

That one’s a bit of a forgone conclusion, really. Archie, Betty, Jughead and Veronica are taking that individual down before they all go their separate ways. The only question is: Will they be on the same page when they do it?
