We’ve been waiting to see what Anthony Mackie would look like as Captain America in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Now it appears we may have our first look.

Anthony Mackie will reprise his Marvel Cinematic Universe role as Sam Wilson in upcoming Disney Plus series The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. However, he’ll also be taking the character in a new direction as The Falcon is destined to become the next Captain America.

Fans of the MCU will know that the original Cap, Steve Rogers, offered Sam his shield and told him to go and take up his rightful place as his successor. It was a heartfelt moment between friends that moved audiences to tears and now those audiences are excited to see the second Captain America in action.

Since then, however, we’ve also been incredibly excited to see what Sam’s Captain America suit would look like, with some fans crafting some incredible artwork while we were all waiting.

Is this our first look at Anthony Mackie as Captain America in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier?

We have finally gotten our first look at what Anthony Mackie will look like in the Captain America outfit. As reported in a tweet by BRMarvelNews, an upcoming Sam Wilson action figure from The Falcon and The Winter Soldier features what appears to be a new Captain America uniform.

The figure of Sam is wearing a white and blue uniform with red in there as well. Undoubtedly a nod to Steve’s look, it’s a recognizable Cap look, but there are also aspects that are influenced by Sam himself – such as the Falcon lenses and the red, white and blue wings.

Pretty comic-accurate indeed and what an incredible look, we can’t wait to see Falcon don this look in the upcoming MCU series.
