4. Birth of the Twins
This was a moment many fans were anticipating since the reveal that Wanda and Vision were to have children was dropped in the WandaVision trailers.
Wanda’s pregnancy throughout the episode paved the way for some hilarious moments, as a mixture of her powers being on-the-blink and the rapidly-accelerated pregnancy itself allowed fans to experience Wanda’s full pregnancy experience in the span of just 30 minutes.
The hilarious interaction with the stork, Geraldine discovering that Wanda is pregnant, and Wanda’s powers causing everyone’s houses to have burst pipes and lose electricity were truly some of the most comedic aspects of the episode.
However, the best part of the episode comes when Wanda gives birth to the twins, and after discussing it with Vision earlier in the episode, names her children Thomas and Billy.
The birth of the twins is important, as comic book fans would know. Their introduction into the series could lead to a number of different avenues being taken, such as Mephisto being introduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe or the twins growing up to join the Young Avengers in one of the MCU’s future phases.
As Wanda herself likes to say: “We just don’t know what to expect” from WandaVision and that makes it all the more exciting.
