Riverdale is a mystery series that airs on The CW. It debuted back in 2017 and has run for four seasons so far. Its fifth season just began last Wednesday.

The premiere episode was the continuation of last season’s storylines. Riverdale had to shut down production early last year so season 4 didn’t get a chance to be completed. However, production resumed in October when the cast and crew returned to Vancouver to begin work on season 5.
Riverdale season 5 kicked off with an explosive premiere episode. It saw Archie Andrews (KJ Apa), Jughead Jones (Cole Sprouse), Lili Reinhart (Betty Cooper), Veronica Lodge (Camila Mendes) and the rest of the Riverdale High gang celebrate Prom. However, the Auteur made his presence felt during the dance, causing mayhem for the students. Elsewhere, Veronica and Archie decided to prepare for the end of their relationship after Archie revealed that he kissed Betty a little while back.
