WandaVision: 5 burning questions for Episode 6
2. What will happen when Vision discovers the whole truth?
Vision is becoming more and more aware of what’s going on around him. Though he’s previously questioned why things in Westview are the way they are, Episode 5 highlighted that a great deal as he discovered that Norm was actually a different person trapped inside the humorous man’s body.
He then began to question why he was trapped and confronted his wife over the strange occurrences in Westview. Though she was persistent in her denials of his accusations that she was responsible for everything going on around them, said accusations led to the most-heated moment in the show yet as the two super-powered beings faced off in their own living room.
The situation cooled off and they embraced for a moment as Wanda once again denied that she had anything to do with what was going on. They were interrupted before they could finish their conversation but one does wonder: What will happen when Vision discovers the true extent of what’s happening (i.e. figures out that he was killed by Thanos and seemingly resurrected by his wife).
1. How is the X-Men’s Pietro Maximoff in the MCU?
Episode 5’s most shocking moment was, without question, the closing moments as Wanda opened her front door only to be met by a bubbly gray-haired individual claiming to be her brother Pietro. It may not have been Aaron Taylor-Johnson (who played the character in the MCU) but that didn’t stop fans from going particularly nuts – mainly because they recognized actor Evan Peters for playing a variation of Pietro – known as Peter Maximoff – in Fox’s X-Men film series.
Naturally, we’ve all been left wondering as to how this version of the character has surfaced in the MCU. Now that Disney owns Fox, a crossover between the properties was inevitable. However, that doesn’t explain how Pietro/Peter showed up at Wanda’s front door and if it’s actually her brother or just another actor from Westview cast in a main role.
Time will tell but this was undoubtedly the most shocking moment in the series thus far.
