The Batman is now available to watch on HBO Max
It’s a day of celebration for DC Comics movie and TV fans as The Batman is now available to stream on HBO Max.
Batman has been a huge presence of comic books, film and TV for nearly a century. He’s had so many appearances in every medium that it would be simply impossible to remember all of his adventures.
The beauty of having a streaming service like HBO Max is that it compiles an endless array of some of his most memorable adventures. The Warner Bros. platform contains many of his feature films like Batman and Batman Returns as well as some of his memorable animated offerings like Batman: The Animated Series and The Brave and The Bold.
Now HBO Max has added one of the most beloved – and underrated – of the Dark Knight’s screen offerings.

The Batman is now available to stream on HBO Max. The classic animated show ran for five seasons between 2004 and 2008, detailing the Dark Knight’s early days as a vigilante in Gotham as he evolved into the hero that the city needed.

It was very well-received but continued to live in the shadow of the earlier critically-acclaimed Batman: The Animated Series. That said, it remained a fixture of DC fans’ lives for the five years that it was on and it was a thoroughly entertaining series that deserves much more love.
The Batman is, of course, also the name of the upcoming Batman reboot starring Robert Pattinson, Zoe Kravitz, Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright and Colin Farrell. It will hit theaters on March 4, 2022.
The Batman is now available to stream on HBO Max from Feb. 15, along with fellow WB animated Static Shock.
