The real villain is “Pietro”

The last episode of WandaVision has led to fans speculating that Pietro is actually the villain of the series, with many believing that the character is actually Mephisto in disguise.

Fans have speculated that the demon of the Marvel Universe would make an appearance for quite sometime, with many believing that the latest episode has given away the fact that Pietro is indeed actually Mephisto.

Pietro calling the twins “demon spawn” could suggest that he is aware that the two children are fragments of Mephisto’s soul, as they were in the comics. The character’s willingness to make comments about Vision and Wanda’s reality showcase that he knows a lot more than the real Pietro actually would, considering his death in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Westview descended into chaos the moment Pietro entered, as he played the role of the “man child” and stole people’s candy during trick-or-treating and caused chaos in the streets of the small town. Did Mephisto take the form of Wanda’s brother to turn things upside down or just because he wanted to make her life difficult?

While the motivations of Mephisto are unclear, it makes sense to have the villain in the series as a potential catalyst for the events that have been occurring.
