WandaVision Episode 7 was another jaw-dropper and it understandably left us with a lot of questions.

WandaVision has had Marvel Cinematic Universe fans on the edges of their seats for weeks. With a new episode arriving every Friday on Disney Plus, it makes sure that it leaves us with a ton of questions every time those credits roll at the end of each episode.

Last week’s offering saw Wanda use her abilities to expand the size of the Hex, pushing Westview out of its own borders and absorbing everything in its way. The reason for this was Vision’s quest outside of the Hex – which saw the Marvel synthezoid almost die (again). But Wanda managed to save him and maintain the sitcom world of Westview for that little while longer.

That played into this week’s episode, as Episode 7 focused on the Scarlet Witch’s attempts to process everything that had been happening in Westview in recent days, paving the way for a very Modern Family-esque episode. But that new format only set the stage for more questions, so without further ado, let’s get to it.

5. What is Project Cataract on WandaVision?

Director Hayward has been a hinderance since he first made his presence felt. Doing the opposite of the logical solution at every given opportunity, he has clearly had his own agenda for investigating the Westview anomaly. It’s now becoming increasingly clear that this agenda has everything to do with Vision.

Hayward has been sketchy from the start and he’s been more interested in obtaining Vision’s body than stopping Wanda, seeing the Scarlet Witch as an obstacle in the way of Project Cataract. And as a cataract is known to impair vision, well, that really does say all you need to know about the motivations behind that project.
