WandaVision: 5 major rewatch details you need to know before the finale
WandaVision proves that the devil really is in the details as rewatching the show highlights just how genius the creative team were with every single tease.
WandaVision has been a maze of Marvel Cinematic Universe references and Easter Eggs since the get-go, but any fan of the MCU knew to expect that. The Disney Plus series is only the latest property to offer nods to both the comic books and the movies/TV shows that came before it.
What makes WandaVision so captivating is the fact that it’s been such an ambitious maze of uncertainty so every single outlandish theory is actually pretty feasible because, quite literally, anything could happen.
We’re just one episode away from Episode 9, the long-awaited season finale, that will no doubt bring this bizarrely brilliant story to a jaw-dropping conclusion and that right there is the perfect opportunity for a rewatch. And looking back on WandaVision knowing what we know really is a unique experience.
With that in mind, as we prepare for the series finale, let’s explore some of the details that were either clues all along or ones that could be important heading into Episode 9.
5. The WandaVision commercials all feature the same actors
The commercials featured in-between the majority of WandaVision episodes all reflected the time-period of each sitcom episode. They also made reference to a number of things that happened in the MCU’s past, present and perhaps even future.
However, one thing you might not have noticed is that almost all of them feature the same actors. From stylish ’60s woman to stressed housewife, Victoria Blade has been the star of all-but-one of the commercials while Ithamar Enriquez has also appeared in those same five, selling her a toaster or fanning her while she enjoys a luxurious Hydra Soak bath.
This is obviously intentional and the only commercial the pair don’t appear in is that terrifying Yo-Magic advertisement because it’s animated. The question is: Who are they and why are they constantly inhabiting Wanda’s consciousness? A reference to her parents, perhaps?
