Riverdale season 5 brought about the end of an era for the show and the start of a new one. The season has, so far, seen Archie Andrews, Jughead Jones, Betty Cooper, Veronica Lodge, Cheryl Blossom, Toni Topaz, Kevin Keller, Fangs Fogarty, Sweet Pea and Reggie Mantle all either graduate or leave Riverdale High and move on with their lives.

Seven years later, Archie, Jughead, Veronica and Betty return. It is then that they find out from Toni Topaz that Hiram Lodge has been up to his old tricks, resulting in a lot of tension.
The former kids put their lives on hold so that they can save Riverdale High from Hiram, becoming teachers in the process. But Archie was reminded the hard way in the previous episode that one should be careful when confronting Hiram.
