8. Pietro Maximoff/Ralph Bohner

Pietro came into WandaVision at an awkward moment. It seemed weird to a lot of people and was one of the biggest talking points of the show as he was played by the X-Men franchise’s Evan Peters. Considering the flow of the show, it could have been looked at as just another wacky thing that Wanda did. As the series went on, however, we found out that nothing was like it appears.

First, this wasn’t Wanda’s brother (duh). Of course, we were all led to believe that this was Pietro from another reality (we all assumed the 20th Century Fox universe). In the end, though, he was just another part-player named Ralph Bohner. He even had his headshot in his mancave. Fietro (fake Pietro) was all part of Agatha’s plan.

Another calculated plan by Agatha Harkness, Pietro was her eyes and ears when she couldn’t be around. But he was more than that to the fans. We all thought that this was the beginning of mutants – and the X-Men – coming into the MCU. Alas, we were wrong.

Regardless of what we may have wanted, Pietro was an entertaining character. Evan Peters did a great job portraying Wanda’s big brother and being the smart alek he was in the X-Men movies (even if he wasn’t playing the same character).
