3. The Scarlet Witch is finally here in WandaVision!

The eighth episode of the series ended with the first ever mention of Wanda Maximoff’s classic comic book name in the MCU as Agatha Harkness confirmed that her codename was indeed The Scarlet Witch!

This led to excitement for fans, all of whom were eager to see Wanda embrace this role as the Scarlet Witch moving forward, becoming the all-powerful witch she has been destined to become for a very long time now. As hope seemed lost in the final battle between Wanda and Agatha Harkness, Wanda finally showcased a glimpse of her full potential!

Using her magical abilities, Wanda shut off Agatha’s abilities using a spell, and donned the costume fans got a glimpse of in the episode prior. This new outfit looks reminiscent to both Wanda’s costume from the comics and the outfit worn by Magneto in the X-Men films.

While slightly different to her comic book attire, fans absolutely loved this take on the classic outfit, which is hopefully showcased more heavily in her next appearance alongside Doctor Strange as Wanda continues to embrace her destiny as the Scarlet Witch (hopefully without the chaos part of the prophecy).
