Supergirl season 6 is on the horizon but when is the trailer released?
It won’t be long until Melissa Benoist’s Girl of Steel takes us up, up and away one more time. Supergirl will fly back onto TV screens in a matter of days as it returns for its sixth and final season.
The show has been a part of the TV landscape for over half a decade. Originally airing on CBS for its first season, the show was moved to The CW before its second began where it was officially welcomed into the Arrowverse and continued to enjoy success as the network’s second-most-watched show for a number of years. However, it was announced that the upcoming sixth season would be the show’s last.
Supergirl season 6 wasn’t originally supposed to be released this early. The show was absent from both The CW’s spring and summer 2021 schedules but the network had to rely on it to fill in for companion series Superman and Lois – which requires a TV hiatus after a COVID-related production delay.
While fans have a lot of questions for the upcoming season 6 premiere and Kara Danvers’ final season of TV heroics in general, the biggest question of them all is undoubtedly: When are we getting the trailer?
When is the Supergirl season 6 trailer released?
There has been a lot of uncertainty in terms of when the Supergirl season 6 trailer will be released. However, it is now expected to arrive tomorrow, March 23, at 1:00 p.m. ET. A listing on The CW’s YouTube channel has since confirmed this.

The confirmation of its existence through that listing does proves that we are getting a trailer before the season 6 premiere – and that is a good thing.
The premiere of the show’s sixth season will begin to wrap up the stories that were carried over from last season’s finale before it then tells the story that was originally planned for it.
Supergirl season 6 premieres on The CW on Tuesday, March 30, at 9:00 p.m. ET, immediately following The Flash.
