When does Lucifer season 5, part 2 make its way onto Netflix?

Lucifer is without question one of Netflix’s most popular TV shows. The Tom Ellis-led series has been a huge hit for the streaming service and it is set to return for at least two more half-seasons.

But it didn’t always reside in the land of streaming. The former Fox TV series ran for three seasons on network television before it was shockingly cancelled. That sparked the unprecedented fan campaign to save the show as fans pleaded with other TV and streaming networks to save their show. And after social media was overpowered with that passion, Netflix answered the call.

The show’s fourth season was a slightly darker offering that made occasional use of the liberties that the streaming service provided – without ever losing that devilish charm that made it such a success in the first place. And it later returned with a quirkier selection of episodes that made up the first half of its fifth season.

That was August and we’ve yet to hear anything about the show’s return for season 5, part 2.

When is Lucifer season 5, part 2 released on Netflix?

It’s not yet known when Lucifer season 5, part 2 will be released. Fans were hoping that it would be part of Netflix’s April line-up but the streaming service has unveiled what is coming in the next month and, unfortunately, the show is not part of that line-up.

This doesn’t rule out an early May release, however, as Lucifer season 5 part 2 could always end up being announced midway through April with a trailer and confirmation of an early May release date.

Of course, that is just speculation but, given that the cast and crew completed work on Lucifer season 5b some time ago (and have almost completed filming for its sixth season), it wouldn’t be too far-fetched to anticipate a release in the very near-future.
