The Falcon and the Winter Soldier unveils its third episode on Disney Plus but how long does it run for?

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is the most talked-about TV show in the world today. Carrying on a legacy that its predecessor, WandaVision, left behind, it has ensured that Marvel fans are still loving the Marvel Cinematic Universe in its revolutionary fourth phase.

The Disney Plus series premiered on the streaming service two weeks ago and it has quickly become the most popular show on the planet. In fact, its pilot episode broke records for the streamer as it became the most-watched Disney Plus premiere.

There is no denying the power of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. The central mystery has reeled fans in as all of them await to see how Sam Wilson/Falcon and Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier take the fight to the Flag-Smashers, the Power Broker, Helmut Zemo and perhaps even the new Captain America and Battlestar, John Walker/US Agent and Lemar Hoskins/Battlestar.

Another mystery fans have been asking themselves about the show is the runtime of its episodes. While WandaVision had shorter episodes, there was more of them. The fact that The Falcon and the Winter Soldier has less episodes should mean that they are longer. And so far, they have been. Is the case the same for episode 3?

How long is The Falcon and the Winter Soldier episode 3?

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier‘s third episode lasts 54 minutes. That being said, if you don’t count the credits, then it is 46 minutes long. That’s four to five minutes longer than both the premiere and episode 2, making it a little longer than the length of a normal American network TV show episode and somewhat closer to that of a cable series.

Once again, this was somewhat expected as Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige previously confirmed that The Falcon and the Winter Soldier would run for approximately six hour-long episodes as the respective Disney Plus Marvel shows will consist of a six-hour runtime when their episodes are combined.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier adds a new episode to Disney+ each Friday.
