The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’s first season is complete but when will it return for its second season?

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier made it clear from the offset that it was a very different show than WandaVision. But we already knew that heading into it, because the Marvel Cinematic Universe series was so recognizably MCU while its predecessor was more of standalone and unique property.

The differences, however, only assisted it in finding its way into fans’ hearts because The Falcon and the Winter Soldier became an instant hit, growing to be every bit as popular as the Disney Plus series that gripped the world between January and March. And now, it too, is ready to leave our screens.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier returned to the streaming service for its sixth episode. The season finale, it brought an end to the new adventures that Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes recently found themselves on as the pair went head-to-head with the Flag-Smashers. Moreover, Sam decided to take the next step in his journey to honoring the legacy of the original Captain America, Steve Rogers.

When does The Falcon and the Winter Soldier episode 7 come out?

It’s not yet known if The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will return for a seventh episode on Disney+ simply because it’s not yet known if it will be returning for a second season.

The show does seem to stand more of a chance of being renewed for season 2 than WandaVision (as it was certainly more of a limited series) and the creatives at Marvel Studios do seem to be open to the idea of continuing the story. Right now, however, the future of the show remains unclear.
