Best DC movies and shows on HBO Max: Superman: The Animated Series

Batman isn’t the only DC hero who has a rough time on the big screen. Some of the films are better than others, some are just unwatchable, and then there those that many wish they could erase the memory of ever having seen them. Man of Steel is a solid live-action adaptation, which some people feel is the best above the rest, but for some, the DCEU’s Martha strategy in the aftermath of the solos endeavor isn’t ideal, making Superman: The Animated Series a perfect place to get reacquainted with the last son of Krypton.

While it isn’t as iconic as Batman: The Animated Series, it still serves as stupendous Superman-based series. The second series in the DC Animated Universe, which is something the DCEU head honchos should look for inspiration, received a robust amount of critical acclaim for its modernization of the character’s mythos, faithfulness to the source material, as well a sits quality of writing, animation, and vocal performances.

So many popular DC characters made an appearance on the series in one of the many well-crafted stories that fans enjoyed over the course of fifty-four 25 minute episodes. The series received many nominations and awards, making it an ideal choice to checkout for any DCEU fan looking for good Superman material to watch.
