The Flash: Zac Efron suits up as Superboy in stunning new image
Zac Efron may have played a lot major characters over the years but fans were floored to see him in the role of Conner Kent a.k.a. Superboy in this image.
Zac Efron has been at the forefront of many famous movies throughout his career. Part of the classic High School Musical franchise, one of the faces of the Hairspray movie and part of the Greatest Showman ensemble, he has done a lot in his young career. But could we ever see him become part of a superhero franchise.
There have long been rumors that Efron will join the Marvel Cinematic Universe and while he would no doubt be an incredible addition to that star-studded line-up, could we end up seeing him join the DC Extended Universe instead?
A brilliant new piece of artwork showcases what role Efron could play if he were to join the DCEU, with it even suggesting that he could end up as part of a different ensemble, leading his very own line-up of superheroes.
What Zac Efron might look like as Conner Kent/Superboy in the DCEU
Digital artist Comic Universe recently took to Instagram to share some amazing artwork featuring Zac Efron as Conner Kent a.k.a. Superboy in the DCEU. The image features Efron in Kon-El’s trademark black T-shirt with the red House of El symbol on his chest. The symbol is identical to the DCEU variation of it and the image is further tied to that specific franchise as Henry Cavill’s Superman is lurking in the background.

It’s not yet known what project Superboy would debut in if the DCEU decided to adapt him but the most popular belief among fans is that, if he were to arrive, it would be in the upcoming movie The Flash.
Starring Ezra Miller in the lead role as the Scarlet Speedster, The Flash will bring back both Michael Keaton’s and Ben Affleck’s Batman and feature the debut of Sasha Calle’s new Supergirl. Exploring the multiverse, fans are expecting it to feature so many more iconic DC characters so Superboy’s debut could be among them. And, who knows, like the incredible concept art suggests, maybe it could lead him to a DCEU version of Young Justice on HBO Max.
