Invincible episode 9 release date: When does the show return for season 2?
Amazon Prime’s Invincible has been a thrilling watch but when will it return to our screens for another adventure with its second season?
Invincible made waves earlier this year after as its brief eight-episode run (the first three of which were released together) mesmerized audiences all over the world.
An animated TV show like no other, it was based on the Robert Kirkman comic book series and featured an array of mature storytelling, compelling characters and bloody violence, making its mark on the superhero genre on a year in which that it is jam-packed with heavy hitters.
However, two weeks back it aired its eighth episode. That eighth episode was a jaw-dropper in every sense of the word but it also served as the finale, bringing the first season to a close. Naturally, fans are excited about what the future of the show holds. But just when can they expect the next episodes to arrive?
When does Invincible episode 9 come out?
It’s not yet known exactly when Invincible will return but the good news is that it will be back for a second and third season. Amazon Prime recently renewed the series for two more seasons, doing so just before the finale was made available on the streaming service. And it was an announcement that certainly made the end of the first season that much easier for fans.
Taking everything into account, it’s likely that the show would return in early 2022, perhaps debuting on Amazon Prime as early as spring next year. However, if there is a smaller amount of episodes (much like we saw in season 1), maybe we could see new episodes in late 2021.
